The relocation will take place January 2004. The relocation will enable Smiths to operate more effectively and grow the business, with more space allowed for manufacturing. The new facility is located at 550 Monica Circle, Corona, California. The business will move from its 70,000 square foot facility at 23695 Via Del Rio in Yorba Linda, where it has resided since 1988. The new 128,000 square foot facility supports employees who design and manufacture the flight refueling system for the new Boeing 767 Tanker Transport, along with pumps, electric motors and fluid control systems for aircraft and military land vehicles. The business has been a part of Smiths Aerospace since the acquisition of Able Corporation in April 2002. Smiths has signed a 10-year lease with Dolphin Partners Incorporated for the Corona facility. Smiths Aerospace is the leading transatlantic aerospace equipment company, with 12,000 staff and $2 billion revenue split equally between Europe and North America.
