GE Aviation achieves Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Southampton, United Kingdom - February 8, 2008 – GE Aviation has been selected as a recipient of a Boeing Performance Excellence Award for 2007. The Boeing Company presents Performance Excellence Awards annually to recognize superior performance by its suppliers.

“It is not without significant challenges and dedication by our employees that we are able to earn an award like this,” commented Michael Jones, VP & General Manager at GE Aviation in Hampshire, UK. “We are delighted to receive the Boeing Performance Excellence Award and will remain committed to maintaining a superior performance status.”

The award was presented during a ceremony today at GE Aviation in Hampshire by Suzanne Hoffman, Director, C-17 Air Vehicle Supplier Management with The Boeing Company.
