RIU-200 Remote Interface Unit

  • provides ~200 interface channels

  • Available with either,

    • a dual redundant MIL-STD-1553B Remote Terminal, or

    • an ARINC 429 (4 Tx and 2 Rx channels) databus interface

  • includes RS-485 databus interface

  • additional CAN bus available on request

  • can be utilised to perform a diverse set of applications, e.g.

    • remote data concentration

    • sub-system control

  • user configurable

  • designed to interface to a wide range of aircraft sensors and effectors

  • low acquisition cost

  • low weight (2.8 lbs), volume (8.5 x 8.5 x 1.1 in) and power consumption (3W)
