Computer card module embedded inside each of the two Flight Management and Guidance Computers (FMGC). Each module includes all of the hardware resources of a fully operational FMS. While the FMGC is a Thales-built unit, the computer card module inside is GE designed and includes GE FMS software.
Two MCDUs (Multipurpose Control and Display Unit) built by Thales, whose main purpose is to interface with the FMS. They also provide access to the ATSU, AIDS, CFDS, optional SATCOM, and up to 4 additional future peripherals.

Exceptional, proven '4-D' trajectory computations
Unique UNDO function of last flight plan revision
A smart temporary flight plan provides for systematic confirmation for each flight plan modification, allows multiple modifications prior to insertion, and displays full predictions for "what-if" scenarios
Friendly DIR TO menu, and display of temporary path on both Navigation Displays (ND) to improve crew awareness and co-ordination
