Flight Management System Desktop Training Workstation

The FMS Desktop Training Workstation consists of a standard PC workstation or laptop computer connected to a Simulation Flight Management System (sFMS) via an Ethernet port. The FMS Desktop Training Workstation allows free-play operation using the exact same FMS software and hardware that is installed on the aircraft. It allows loading of all customer databases include the Operational Flight Program as it is updated.
The simulated aircraft model includes all the associated sensors, flight controls and flight deck instruments. The sensor suite has representative sensor error models that can be individually controlled. The flight instruments include interactive MCDU, EFIS map and autopilot Mode Control Panel displays. Instruments can be resized and moved around the screen to fit various monitors.

It is available for the Flight Management Computer System (FMCS) installed in the Boeing 737-3/4/500 and 737-6/7/8/900, BBJ aircraft. It can be configured on special order for other GE FMS applications.
