Airborne Microserver

The Airborne Microserver is a powerful and custom configurable onboard file server that is flexible enough to meet the needs of any system integrator. With standard access to four removable memory cards and two large capacity onboard caches, and a high speed communications processor the unit is designed to offer all of the features needed by a modern aircraft file server.

The unit features four PCMCIA card slots with capacities of up to 16 Gigabytes each, a dual Ethernet 10/100/1000BaseT bus, embedded cache memory, and is capable of 8 Megabytes/Second sustained read/write rates. I/O expansion is easily available via the PMC slot designed on the processor. Upgrades include video recording, and additional MUX interfaces. This small, light weight unit is perfect for rotorcraft, and has been qualified on the UH-60M for the U.S. Army.
