The AVSRT- PA video recorder builds upon the baseline AVSRT and adds Precision Strike (PA) capability. Similar to the baseline recorder, it offers 4 video and 2 audio channels with synchronized playback/ debrief. The recorder is specifically designed to meet high-resolution video recording and playback for the Bomb Impact Assessment program. The video is compressed using the Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG) algorithm prior to storage. The system consists of the receptacle and a removable video data cartridge.
