This digital recorder is a drop in replacement for single and triple tape deck recorders with the capability to record 4 video channels. Includes: 4 RS-170 video inputs, 1- MIL STD-1553 Data I/F and can be controlled by either 1553 or RS-422. Memory capacity of up to 24GB in a standard USAF data cartridge. Video is compressed using MPEG compression algorithm prior to storage. The recorder is in current production for multiple tactical and strategic platform installations.
