Combining the functional capability of both digital video, data transfer and file server, this advanced digital video recorder, file transfer and file server system provides information management solutions for complex military platforms. It is in production for several tactical aircraft. The DVR/FS Provides up to 5 channels of video with 2 audio channels. The system is capable of hosting terrain avoidance, moving map systems, or other application specific software solutions. The remote mass storage receptacle provides for 1-3 data cartridges (US Air Force standard size) with growth potential to over a TeraByte of solid-state data storage. The system is complemented by the GE Operational Debrief System debriefing/playback system.
