The GE Digital Video Information System (DVIS) provides state-of-the- art digital recording for new build and legacy tactical aircraft and ground platforms. The system was also designed for easy retrofit of video recorder tape decks. The DVIS is expandable from 1-4 video channels and is combinable with data transfer, terrain avoidance and other functions.

The DVIS also has various associated debriefing systems ranging from the use of Windows Media Player to multiple aircraft, multiple display with ACMI and 3-D display. The removable cartridge connects to commercially available computers (laptop or desktop) through a USB cable interface.
