Automatic Target Recognition Unit

Boeing IDS selected GE to provide the Automatic Target Recognition Unit (ATRU) for the Stand-Off Land Attack Missile - Expanded Response (SLAM-ER). The ATRU provides:

  • Processing of pre-launch and post-launch targeting data
  • High-speed video comparison
  • Enables SLAM-ER "fire and forget" functionality
