GE's Weapon Interface Unit (WIU) was developed for the Canadian Navy to integrate the Harpoon anti-shipping missile to its submarines. It provides an interface form platform power, digital systems, discrete signals and the AHWCS Harpoon central processor between the Harpoon missile and the ship. The WIU can control up to four Harpoon missiles.
