Avionics and Flight Management Computer (AFMC)GE's AFMC provides true open system architecture with extensive Input/Output capability in a light weight and highly configurable DO-254 Level B Certified chassis. The AFMC hosts the Software Common Operating Environment (SCOE), developed in collaboration with Wind River, which provides an ARINC 653 compliant partitioned operating system allowing for the safe operation of several functions within one system.
