Overlay Video Module (OVM)The Overlay Video Module is the primary video/graphics functional component within the Mission Processor (MP). The OVM is a single board processor, with dual PMC, enclosed module capable of combining receiving digital video or graphics with selectable overlay data to provide two independent video/graphic outputs. Utilizes the P9 graphics processor the OVM provides the capability to zoom, crop, and rotate the input video prior to merging with the overlay data to provide the textured Open GL graphic output. Each OVM video output format is software selectable and can be any of the following:
The OVM is designed to be used in conjunction with either the Video Input Module (VIM) as its digital video source. |
