Mission Processor (MP)The Mission Processor, developed by GE, is a video processing/compute platform capable of merging various types of analog video, digital map video, or textured graphics formats with selectable overlay data to provide a high speed, high resolution fiber optic video outputs to as many as ten separate display units. The MP is an 18 slot cabinet comprised of various line replaceable modules providing for a highly flexible, adaptable, and scalable configuration. This processor also provides extensive input/output capability; the amount of each signal type is dependant upon the configuration selected. Signal types include:
