Shaft-driven Blowers

GE mechanically driven blowers are typically used in oil cooler applications in helicopters, engine and transmission cooling and scavenger applications in ground vehicles, and inlet particle separator applications for helicopter engines.

Blower designs with flows up to 20,000 CFM and pressure rises up to 30 inches of water are available.

Blower bearings are designed for long life and effective heat dissipation to the air stream. Axial and mixed-flow blowers are fabricated from rugged cast aluminum materials.

Customized impeller and stationary vane designs are configured to meet or exceed the flow and pressure rise requirements of the blower system.
