These fans and blowers are characterized by their high-efficiency, dense packaging, light weight and high reliability. Designs include electric motor-driven, shaft-driven and hydraulically-driven fans and blowers.

These fans and blowers are used on numerous types of platforms including military and commercial fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, military land vehicles, and marine vehicles such as the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).

GE has validated computer-based engineering design and modeling tools required to rapidly optimize mechanical and aerodynamic designs of all fan and blower systems and minimize time-to-manufacture.
