GE manufactures motors that are supplied as components to OEMs to be attached to hydraulic boost pumps. These motors incorporate a highly reliable 400 Hz AC induction motors into rugged aluminum housings. The high power density of the integral AC motors provides maximum efficiency and overall performance while reducing size. Typically, these motors are cooled by the hydraulic fluid that is being pumped by the hydraulic pump that the motor is powering.
