The Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 LGS showcase GE's innovative Total Systems Approach, demonstrating its expertise in systems integration, hydraulic and electrical actuation, steering, electronics, and software control.

In addition to large civil LGS, GE has recently established itself as the premier supplier of complete landing gear solutions for U.S. military helicopter platforms and a number of unmanned air vehicles (UAV's)

GE can provide 'complete landing gear system solutions' for vehicles up to 50k pounds MTOW, both for conventional use as well as operations from the deck of an aircraft carrier.

This unique capability allows us to optimize architectures and interface definitions, driving down cost, saving weight, and improving reliability for all actuation system applications.

GE now provides the landing gear systems for 3 UAV programs and is working on multiple UAV and business jet opportunities.
